Galaxy Quest, was a 1999 film directed by Dean Parisot and written by David Howard and Robert Gordon. The movie starred Tim Allen, Sigourney Weaver, Alan Rickman, Tony Shalhoub, Sam Rockwell and Daryl Mitchell. The alumni cast of a space opera television series have to play their roles as the real thing when an alien race needs their help. An argument can be made that Galaxy Quest is one of the best Star Trek films ever made. The comics from IDW Publishing follow their adventures in the aftermath of taking a bow for saving Earth from a reptilian warlord.
