How much is my Star Trek comic worth?
Got Star Trek comics?
Canon?
Please consult a current comic book price guide. Your local comic shop will have a copy, or you can check an online price guide (which usually require registration and sometimes require monthly fees). An updated edition of The Overstreet Comic Book Price Guide is published every summer. Many price guides for Star Trek collectibles have been published.
The accurate, but unsatisfying, answer is that your comic is worth what someone is willing to pay for it. Price guides base their valuation on comics in near mint or better condition. Comic shops won't purchase your comic at these values. If they did, they wouldn't be in business long. If you want to sell your comic, take a look at eBay to learn what people are asking and getting for Star Trek comics.
To find a comic shop near you, call the Comic Shop Locator Service at 1-888-COMICBOOK (1-888-266-4226) or go to http://www.comicshoplocator.com/.
Go to your local comic shop and ask for Star Trek comics. You can also search the catalogs of online comic shops. For the fiscally adventurous, try eBay (see the next page for advice about buying comics on eBay).
We ain't got no canon. We don't need no canon! I don't have to show you any stinkin' canon!
