Steelworks, a DC Comics six-issue mini-series, was written by Michael Dorn who played Worf on The Next Generation, Deep Space Nine and Picard. Dorn voiced John Henry Irons/Steel in two episodes of Superman: The Animated Series (1996-2000). Steelworks is Dorn's first professional writing credit and his Steel story is based on the John Henry legend.
