Direct market editions have a cover price of $2.50 and newsstand editions have a cover price of $1.95. Newsstand editions were printed on less expensive paper, somewhat gray with a matte finish. Newsstand editions also have a UPC barcode in the lower left corner. Beginning with issue #21, direct market editions have a barcode on the cover with the label DIRECT EDITION. The indicia of issues #3 thru #19 and #21 note the lower priced newsstand editions. After issue #21, there is no further mention of newsstand pricing. Newsstand editions of issues #1 and #2 are priced at $2.95 and $2.50 respectively.
